I have been involved with baseball and softball for somewhere around 35 years. I started playing around 5 years old and have been involved in the game ever since. I grew up in central Illinois was fortunate enough to continue playing baseball at Rend Lake Community College and then at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. After my college career I began teaching and coaching baseball and have been doing that for the past 20 years. I also spent about 10 years during and after college playing men’s fastpitch softball.
Currently, I teach and coach at a local high school around Champaign, Illinois and live in St. Joseph with my wife and two teenage sons. I have always worked on my own gloves and began working on gloves this past year (2024). I enjoy fixing them up and bringing them back to life.
